Vision of Amberly Officially Introduced to North Carolina
Amberly, the highly anticipated master planned community, will be one of the Triangle's largest when completed, with 5,000 homes spanning 1,000 acres in western Cary. The community will offer residents many opportunities previously unavailable in the Triangle and all of NC.
Cary, NC (PRWEB) March 9, 2005 -- The developers of the highly anticipated
Amberly development in Cary officially unveiled their vision for the 5,000-home
master planned community. At a "Friends of Amberly" event at the Matthews House
in Cary, several members of the Amberly team delivered dedication speeches, and
introduced many Amberly partners and associates to a "Vision of Amberly" DVD
presentation, and an official premiere of Amberly's logo and creative elements.
The presentation provided a platform for developer GS Carolina and owner
L.M. Sandler & Sons to express their gratitude for all of those who took
part in the community's conceptualization and development. Amberly's principals
showed their appreciation for the land planners and architects, who helped guide
the Amberly vision and map out its future.
"The foundation of this
community is the result of a team of individuals and groups, some of the most
talented and reputable in the industry that we cannot thank enough for what
they've contributed," said David Guy, Development Manager of Amberly.
The
developers extended their gratitude to the teams of builders, including Pulte
Homes, KB Home, the Amberly Builder Group, and Del Webb, developers of the
Active Adult neighborhoods of Amberly. It's been acknowledged that these
homebuilders and developers, for the next several years, will establish what
helps make this an all-encompassing community. Each builder's individual home
styles will appeal to young, growing and mature families, as well as those
seeking active adult lifestyles and retirement settings.
The Amberly team
also expressed its gratitude to the Town of Cary, Mayor Ernie McAlister and
several dignitaries and council members – those who worked alongside the
developers for the past few years to help make Amberly possible from a
legislative standpoint. The list of Amberly's friends also included the
residents of the Town of Cary who contributed to the "Vision of Amberly DVD"
through their interviews and stories.
The Friends of Amberly event
continued to reveal the developer's inspirations for the community. Amberly is
described by its designers as an all-encompassing community aimed at
establishing a wholesome lifestyle – all centered around four principal elements
– Environment, Education, Wellness and Technology.
According to the
developers, each element is brought to life by a number of components of the
community and a vast assortment of amenities, activities and exclusive
opportunities. "Our entire team has poured their efforts into making this a
monumental development – a vast natural setting and environment that will be a
fully integrated residential community where the greatest variety of residents
can thrive and grow," said Bob Jones, General Manager of
Amberly.
"Amberly, with its wide range of opportunities made available
for all lifestyles, is truly becoming a first for the state of North Carolina, a
way of life that has never been offered. All of our partners and friends who
contributed to Amberly's creation can be proud," added Guy.
Amberly, an
L.M. Sandler & Sons Inc. community, is being developed by GS Carolina of
Charlotte and a number of the industry's most established partners and
associates. As with the Sandler & Sons' best selling community and 2004
community of the year, Bedford At Falls River, and the award-winning Wakefield
Plantation, L.M. Sandler & Sons is dedicated to making Amberly another
premier community in the Triangle area. Amberly is situated on the western edge
of Cary, straddling the border of Wake and Chatham Counties, and is located just
off Highway 55, which will soon intersect with I-540.
