“Internet Research Addict Shoots 34 Google Videos To Get Mom Off His Back”
New step-by-step video tutorials, provide a quick and easy way to master the Google search engine, and it's many tools. Available for instant download, or to watch online.
(PRWEB) April 16, 2005 -- Enough is enough! Self confessed Internet research
addict Jason Lewis, got so bogged down with his mom’s constant requests for help
using Google, he decided to do something about it…
Jason’s mom Pam Lewis
aged 60, an ex postal worker from Rushden in the UK, recently retired from
full-time work. After getting a new computer she began using the Internet, but
found it very frustrating as she often struggled to find the information she was
looking for.
After Jason recommended Google.com to his mom, Pam did start
to get somewhere, but would still regularly seek Jason’s advice and
help.
Unfortunately, as a busy father of 2, with an Internet business to
run, Jason felt the strain as he was constantly going back and forth to his
mom’s house giving her tuition.
At Last, An Easy Way To Master
Google…
Then in early February this year, Jason came up a great idea.
Using the latest screen capture technology, he would record himself using
Google’s various research tools, and give the video examples to his mom for
guidence.
He used a michrophone to talk her through everything
step-by-step, so that she could understand what he was doing on the screen. Not
wanting to miss anything out, Jason went on to record 4 hours and 12 minutes of
video tutorials.
Dozens Of Example Searches Using Google, All Captured On
Video
Jason carried out dozens of example searches using Google’s basic
and advanced search tools, their image search engine, Froogle, Google Groups,
the translation tool, Google Alerts, Google Directory, Google News, and also the
Google Toolbar.
Not wanting to give his poor mom information overload,
Jason also split everything up into 34 smaller, easy to manage
videos.
The response from Pam was overwhelming, as she found the videos
an absolute godsend. She now could get all the help she needed, whenever she
wanted it, without having to get Jason on the phone, or over to her
house.
Word Of Mouth Soon Spread…
Pam couldn’t keep the videos to
herself, and soon passed copies round to other family members and friends. The
feedback from everyone was fantastic, particularly because everything is
presented on video, without the need to trawl through a huge book to learn
everything.
This Made Learning How To Use Google So Much More
Enjoyable
People who said they wouldn’t normally study anything like
this, found themselves captivated, as they watched the videos from beginning to
end.
After hearing how useful people were finding the videos, Jason knew
that he just had to get these videos into the hands of more people, and quickly
decided to make them available to the public.
After re-producing the
videos to a higher professional standard, they are now available to download, or
to watch online via Jason’s brand new website at http://www.findstuffquickly.com.
If you are a new to
intermediate Internet user, you will find these Google video tutorials an
immense help. If you are already an expert Internet user, maybe you know someone
that isn’t. If you do, you can be sure that they’ll thank you for telling them
about the ‘Find Stuff Quickly’ videos.
