Customer Rating: Summary: Classic Comment: This book is great for a boy or a girl, it is a big hit at our house!
Customer Rating: Summary: not pleased with quality Comment: The binding on the book was solid (paper back) but the pages were black and white and on two of the pages the ink was smeared. I guestion if someone printed it at home.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Book Comment: Alexander and the Terrible Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day, is a very very good book. One of my favorites from when i was a kid
Customer Rating: Summary: It's a horrible day, but it's a great book! Comment: This was a great book! It made us laugh. We liked the part when Alexander fell in the mud, and when his foot got stuck in the elevator. You should read this book because it is a funny book. If you read it, we think you will like it. We would recommend it to both adults and kids, especially for people who are not having a good day. It will make them feel better. Happy reading!
Customer Rating: Summary: You are not alone... It happens to everyone... Comment: I found this book while I was looking for a gift for a six year old boy today. I loved it so much that I got one for the birthday boy and one for my almost-six year-old daughter. It is absolutely amazing.. Alexander is having a bad day, no not just a bad day, a horrible day, as we, adults, call it "a day from hell"... So he decides to move to a far away land where people do not have to live days like this - but guess what? He figures it out.. Anyone, anywhere can have a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day... It happens to everyone.. He is not alone, and it is not the end of the world..
I don't find this book depressing at all.. It is realistic and entertaining at the same time.. I recommend this book for not only kids (probably 5+) but also teenagers and adults.

Alexander's rotten day is the perfect lead-off for this humorous collection of Judith Viorst's stories and poems about the ups and downs of childhood, read by Blythe Danner. Also included are: Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday and The Tenth Good Thing About Barney.
